'슈퍼스타K' 시즌 7 우승자인 '케빈 오'가 첫 공식 활동에 나선다. '케빈오'는 13일(금) 저녁 8시 30분에 첫 방송되는 tvN 10주년 특별기획 금토드라마 '디어 마이 프렌즈'('홍종찬' 연출, '노희경' 극본, 이하 '디마프')의 첫 번째 OST 가수로 낙점되었으며, 그가 가창한 신곡 "베이비 블루(Baby Blue)"는 13일 자정(14일 0시), 전 음원사이트를 통해 공개된다.
'케빈오'는 우리가 몰랐던, 관심 없던 '진짜 어른들'의 이야기로 감동을 전할 '디마프'의 첫 번째 OST 주자로 나서, 자신만의 상쾌한 감성이 담긴 보컬로 드라마속 음악의 첫 문을 연다. '디마프'의 첫 번째 OST "베이비 블루(Baby Blue)"는 1960~70년대 미국에서 큰 부흥을 일으키며 지금까지 큰 사랑을 받고 있는 모던 포크(Modern Folk) 장르 계열의 곡이다.
어쿠스틱 기타를 3핑거 주법(쓰리핑거 주법)으로 연주하여 빈티지한 사운드를 연출해냈으며, 여기에 '케빈 오'의 세련된 보컬이 더해져 아스라한 청춘의 느낌이 물씬 풍기는 곡으로 완성되었다.
